Polypropylene homopolymer (PP-H) piping system is a polyolefin and semi-crystalline thermoplastic system made from the polymerization of only propylene. PPH pipe has high tensile strength, which makes it suitable for use in aggressive and abrasive applications where other piping materials would be damaged. Polypropylene homopolymer or PPH for short is stronger and stiffer than copolymer and more widely used. With the combination of excellent chemical resistance and the ability to be joined and welded by heat fusion makes this an ideal plastic for chemical tanks and structures in corrosive environments.
